The Weekend Can Be Where The Week Begins

I will try and do something more personal than this for the lot of you for the birthday wishes, and that will take time. For quick gratification, here you are. Thank you!

For my celebration, I went camping at Big Sur. It's a couple hours down the coast from where I live and it's a happy place. It's a calm place. I would like to live there, though it'd have to be in retirement due to its remoteness from civilization and cost. Think of the majestic Northern Michigan feel in the late summer with rocky/hill coastal cliffs instead of having flat beaches. And some salt water. There's an ocean nearby or something.

To be concise to a point, you'll see I've added two one thousand words for you. I did not take this and have to find some time to filter through mine. And thank goodness this thing saves as it crashed when trying to add this picture for your visual pleasure. Three times. We may have unstable computers for use here... or I have way too much open and tend to hibernate the PC multiple times on Fridays and on the weekends, thus making Monday quite a treat.

Speaking of odd things. I finally met someone I've worked with hours on end over the phone and email for the last year and a half. All I had was a voice and name. This changes everything.

If anyone stops by Nebraska for the April 4-6 weekend, I need a wedding date.

Another one bites the dust...

hey all! just wanted to say hey to everyone:) life has been interesting over here. biggest news would be that i broke up with Tom on Sat. something just wasn't working. but i'm enjoying the single life again. i need a break for awhile and just kinda see what else is out there...and on that theme i went to get some custom dress shirts on sunday. the guy helping me (v cute btw) asked if i was single, i said yes (w/o getting into details) and he's like i have the PERFECT guy for you. started describing him and sounds like a cool guy. i cannot believe i got set up on a date within 24 hours of breaking up. now granted, blind dates always suck and are awkward but i figure i might as well go. chances are high that it would be ridiculous and will make for a hilarious future blog, right?? ;) i do it for your entertainment only...

also on the trip theme of recent blogs i'm thinking of where i wanna go on my two weeker. its between Croatia/Greece (les we could meet up!!), Peru/Equador/Galapagos Islands (its a set tour) or maybe somewhere in Africa. thoughts? I also am going to Santa Barbara for a quick wknd the beginning of May for my cousin Kelly's Wedding. excited to see the area, heard its beautiful.

also in theme's of pics, to the left is a picure of the amazingness that is Hoboken St. Patty's day (which is 2 weeks ahead of real st patty's day). why you may ask? b/c its jersey and they need another reason to get sloppy. WE'RE IN! this is flip cup at about 9am. breakfast of champions. soooo much fun. i may have gotten a bit messy.

and finally, erin was in town last night and i managed to get TRASHED with her until 1am. remember, it was a MONDAY night. i was literally hung over all day today at work. like i'm not gonna feel 100% until i wake up i think. damn Erin and her MT friends!!! (but clearly loved seeing her)

So I came on here to finish up the work day (yes, 5:30 is quitting time on the West Coast where we realize work and play (life) need to be balanced) and spent all my time reading, looking at pictures, and commenting. Now I'm too hungry to stay longer and will have to post another time.

oooo les im so jealous that sounds like an EXCELLENT adventure! haha and nice map there. I'm here trying to study cause finals are coming up for this quarter and yup... all im doing to browsing the internet and procrastinating...ahhh so productive. Nothing else new here, schools good, I actually get my own client with speech/language disorders next quarter...i know they should be really scared! I was just thinking how much I miss you all! I wanna plan trips this summer, I want to come to NY (sans staying with my ex... who btw has a new gf, gotta love facebook...so fun.) and enjoy all yalls company! Besides that ive been tryin to enjoy the city some... went to the museum of contemporary art on friday and got kinda sloshed at their "first fridays" ....haha so classy of me. and then went to second city last night 2 see a really funny comedy show... soooo funny. Oh and im goin to FL with my parents for a few days over spring break! cant wait to be all lame and in warm weather. yum. lo nice pics, i see ur photography class is paying off!! lets play soon:) Happy bday Bre!

My first...

I'm back friends! This is my first post on the Blog Part Deux. Major updates in my life right now are as follows. I'm training for Boston again and will be there mid-April. I also bought a one-way ticket to Greece that leaves May 24th. I will be flying into Athens and then doing some island hopping with the mom and sister (in the Cyclades). Any of you are welcome to come and/or meet up. My sister and I are also considering doing some traveling around Italy post our Greek adventure.

I included a map of Greece to a.) show you where I am going, and b.) improve your geography knowledge.

Hi Friends!  Here I am!

I really do heart the blog.  So I am committed to providing a little update.

I went to the Florida Keys for a week and it was excellent! Justin and I laid in the warm warm sunshine.  And ate fish.  And drank beer.  And ate key lime pie.  And went snorkeling.  And went fishing.  And slept.  It was wonderful.  My mom and Karl were there as well although we primarily hung out with them during meals since during the day my mom wanted to "go out exploring" and Justin and I wanted to "drink beer and do not

hing."  Ah youth.

Now I have a question for perhaps Mark.  Or Boy Aaron.  Or Devesh.  How come when I upload my photos onto the internet (e.g. blogging, facebooking) they are turning sort of a de-saturated blah color?  My camera takes beautifully colored photos but I must be uploading

 them wrong?  Does it have something to do with Aperture & my Mac?  I'm so confused.   Also.  I have NO IDEA how to format on the blog?  Am I like remedial?

P.S. That huge ass fish you see there?  I caught that.  It's a grouper.  14 inches!  But I had to throw it back because they have to be 20 inches to keep.
